I'm going to be picking up a Z4 soon that will have to do some daily driving duties through the winter. It is coming with the OEM type 107 wheels, which I believe are 18x8 and 18x8.5 (anyone, confirm? incorrect? not sure what stock offset is either, I'm bad at wheels.)

I'd like to outfit those rims with some good all-purpose winter tires. Not dedicated snow tires like the big bad blizzaks, but something more like the Wintersport M3s. I'm hoping someone can post me some recommendations at what to look at: brands, models, and sizing all. I'm terrible at figuring this out without help. In the spring I'll look for new rims and dedicate summer rubber to those, so this is intended to be my winter set for the next few years.

I live in Northern VA, so they will see mostly rain and slush at freezing temperatures; when the ground isn't just plain dry and frozen. Snow 3 or 4 times only, and never more than a few inches. I'm not even sure if they should be runflat? I guess they should since I won't have a spare. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
