Ran Out of Gas - Now No Start

So today on the way to work I ran out of gas. I just didnt pay any attention to the gauge like a dummy and ran out. I got a gas can put a few gallons in then drove to the station and filled up - Then I drove it to work just fine. About 2 miles. Nothing wrong at all. No issues... After 5 hours I went to leave from work and the car will not start. It just turns over and over. I did smell fuel so I dont know if I flooded it or not but I didnt do anything different than normal when I went to start it and leave work.

Could the fuel filter have gotten clogged from sediment from running the tank dry earlier? If so why didnt I have this problem initially? What to on check fella's - thoughts, thanks ??

your fuel pump need to be primed, but I could be wrong, If you want more answers i suggest www.mye28.com. Great forum for our cars

I would try buying a cheap small filter like the ones used on old trucks thats clear plastic so you can see the gas and test it first before you buy a bigger filter or take off the filter and turn the car over a few times and see if you see gas come out and how much. Could be the gas tank itself.
