I am just getting around to ordering winter tires and wheels for my 335i sedan and finding Sport Edition A7 as one of the only wheels available on Tire Rack. The issue I have is due to that rims offset I have to go with 205/50/17s and I'm concerned they will look too small though I understand traction should be better.
I would appreciate your experienced comments and any other options you may be aware of that would allow me to use the 225/45/17s I would prefer.
Thanks

With this offset we recommend 205/50R17 snow tires because the fitment is pretty tight with 225/45R17. Some forum guys have gotten away with running 225/45R17 on them with only occassional (hard cornering) rubbing or no rub at all.

I'm still concerned about that size looking out of proportion for my car, should I be? Also, your thoughts on the Pirelli 210 Sottozero run flat?

Why not go with the Kosei Wheel and a wider tire?
I have them and have had no rubbing issues, my tires are WS60's 225 45 17's they are not the stickiest of tires on dry but they are exceptional on snow and ice.
Maybe the HR rated tires are a little bit wider at the shoulder?

Its barely an inch more narrow so I don't feel it looks that bad. We've actually had pretty good feedback with the 210 sotto zero runflat tires.
