Gary are the tire companines working on the next generation of run flats ?

Gary, you have a big in when it comes to tire news ... are the tire companies working on the next generation of run flats and if so when will they be out and what are they trying to improve ?

I think the heavy weight would be one aspect as well as the feel on the road and bumps. The compromise definitely needs to be worked on, the 'thump' you get when hitting the bumps feel solid and I can live with it but I would think the tire manufacturers would want to make it feel not quite as hard and bouncy.

Unfortunately we do not get much advanced notice or in depth info on future tire development, sorry... I'm normally among the first to know about new tires testing results and so forth, but my 'in' only gets me about that far :)
