I'm looking to put 17's on my 1996 BMW. BMW OEM's preferably. I noticed on some e36's that the rears look sunken in more than the fronts, which doesn't look good. I really don't want to go with staggered sizes. I'd like to have the same dimensions on all 4 tires. Can I use spacers on the rears to make it look good without affecting safety? I'm not worried about performance problems since I drive like an old fart in my 318. I have my 300 Hurst if I want to drive like a nut.
