Hello,

I ordered 4 of 225/40VR-18 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D for my 2007 335i Coupe w/ Sport Pkg and had these installed yesterday at a recommended tire rack installer. This morning I am having problems with my TPM sensor and it is saying it is malfunctioning. Is this something I will have to live with until I put my non winter tires back on? Or did the installer do something incorrectly? I have tried twice to reset the TPM monitor but it comes back with an error and and I just have a (!) icon on my dashboard.

Thanks!

Perhaps the installer damaged a sensor? No other reason I can think of that you'd be getting a malfunction.

did you reset the TPMS after you swapped rims?

actually it is the same set of rims, just different tires. but i did reset the tpm after they swapped the tires out and it goes into "tpm malfunction" after a bit when i try and reset it.
