Blower Noise

My heater blower has started to make a chirping noise - it only does it in fan positions 2 and 3. The chirping sounds like one of those small wooden bird calls that you can buy at toy stores.

Am I loosing my fan? Is there something I can do to fix it?

Sounds like the bushings are going. You probably can not do anything to fix it.

for a few days my car would make a nosie like that too .. but only when the heater was on and last night the fan belt broke causing all the other belts to fall off and i towed it home cuz it was over heating.. take a look at that part too

How crappy is it to replace the fan? I have the M60 engine with the coolant tank in at the back of the motor
