Hello, contemplating the purchase of 1986 535i in Seattle with a lot of mileage (250k). He currently gets the car serviced at CarTender on Capitol Hill, any other recommendations of another service shop to get unbiased summary?
Thanks
Eric

Nope, i actually bought an E34 525iT instead, pretty random huh? I just fell in love with the wagons and found one with a manual transmission converted and i am swapping in an E36 M3 s52 engine. Along with some suspension upgrades, new M5 wheels, it should be a beautifly thing. Would have been cheaper to buy the e28:p

Hey man,
Not sure if it's too far for you, but you if you're still looking for a shop, you could give Strictly BMW in Bellevue a shot.

Sounds like you got a new ride though.
Good luck.
