M20 Stutter

i have a slight stutter at an idle, but it revs up fine, except when you put the motor under a load then at about 3000rpms it cuts out like a rev limiter then comes back to life and pulls like no other. do you think that it is the spark plugs, i have platnum +2 in there right now, so should i put the copper plugs back in there? by the way it's been chipped

Check the TPS and clean the throttle.Inspect the flap in the AFM.Clean the idle valve.Make sure that you have no intake leaks (intake air boot/intake manifold gaskets).A faulty fuel pressure regulator or clogged/dirty fuel filter may cause a stumble under load.
