Hi.
I have a set of 17" ZHP reps I need to sell. I got them for my 2000
328i I had at the time. But, right after I got them (and before I put
them on) I fell in love with an '04 Imola ZHP 330i and bought it and sold
my 328i.
I got my wheels off Ebay from OE Wheel Distributors. I did a lot of
research on them before I purchased. I found out they also sell wheels to
aftermarket wheel retailers and this increased my confidence in the
quality of their products. They are 17" x 8"/47mm offset and hub centric.
They are DOT, JWL, VIA and TUV approved. They are side impact and load
bearing tested.
Now that I have the wheels I am very impressed with them. They look
every bit as good as my stock 135 wheels. They weigh 22lbs each. They are
very well packaged (just the way they came) and are ready to ship.
I paid $527.60 for my wheels including shipping and insurance. I'd like
to sell them for $475 including shipping and insurance. That works out
to about $375 for the wheels and $100 for shipping, which means I'll
end up losing about $150 over all, but that's what I get for falling in
love with a ZHP. :bigpimp: Of course, I'm open to offers.
I got the 17's for several reasons. Since they were going to go on my
'00 328i I wanted to save money. 17" tires are less expensive. I figured
I'd rather have a slightly "softer" ride with the 17's as opposed to
the 18's. And 18's are more suseptible to damage. I also wanted to be
able to rotate my tires.
Phil
P.S. For those of you poor saps in the the great white northern regions,
these'd make some hot looking winter wheels.
