I know that the E38's had this as an option but the E65 does not seem to offer it even in the E66 760Li versions. If you had this you would see a button on the driver's door control panel that allows the mirror folding to be operated. It may be possible to retrofit a set of them from an M5 for example, but you'll need to replace the door modules and the driver's door control panel too since these control the mirrors, steering wheel and seat memory functions. Could be complex or it could be easy depending on whether the E65 system configuration allows for both or the car's configuration (aka Vehicle Order) will need to be coded to allow them to operate. If the later is the case, the NA dealers won't do it.

The auto folding side mirrors come standard on the 2007 on 7 Series.

They didn't come on the E38s until 2001. On the E65 it wasn't until 2007. I'm pretty sure the 2000 M5 had them.

It is standard on my 2007 750Li - Very handy in tight spots and lanes. I use it frequently.
