Does anyone have a E-Z Pass? If so my question is this.
Is the only place you can put the EZ Pass in the little part in the lower front winshield that is meant for the detector? or can it go anywhere and still work?:dunno:

I don't put it on my windshield at all. I open up the sunroof cover a little bit, hold it up there, and fly through the toll booth.

In Cali, they have one that mounts to the top bolts of the front license plate. You have to request for it. People always think its some type of radar on my car.

I put my EZ pass on the right side of the rearview mirrow with this

However as long as the tag is visible by the scanner, it can be attached anywhere.
You can also get a front bumper attachment that fits on the front license plate.

+1. When I lived in jersey I always kept mine mounted behind the rearview mirror, so I couldn't see it when I was driving.

If the glass is visible, yes. Have to pull the cloth cover back first, then put the device up there.

In Jawja (that's Bulldawg country, btw), I tossed my pass and still fly through. The handy dandy toll cameras snap me every time, they match the plate and take my lousy 50 cents. I haven't used my EZPass in 2 years.

Wished tolls here were 50 cents lol.
Paying between $4.00 to $5.00 each crossing sucks.
If you wanted to go from jersey to Queens, NY you pay $5.00 at George Washington Bridge, then $4.00 at either Troggs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge.
Then on the way back home, pay another $4.00 at either TNB or WSB.
And supposedly the tolls are going up at GWB.
:(
along the same lines....has anyone painted the ez pass black...i really hate the way it looks thru the windshield....i have heard they make cloth covers for them...

Yes they do have black cloth holders for ezpass. Use your computer and internet access and Google it and ye shall find.

Hey Beazy,
Due to the IR windshield I had to get the sensor for the tag, take a look at the picture of my ride you will see it mounted on the front tag.

+1 I have a 2005 and have mine mounted on the glass by the rearview mirror. If you look in the right light you can see how the glass coating dips in that area and leaves a clear spot. Thanks to the board for the tips on the EZPass covers!

Hey thanks a lot
I mounted mine to the sunroof. Works like a charm. It even stays when I open it. Haven't tried using it with the roof open yet but I doubt it will read that way.

Forgive my ignorance but if you mount it on the sunroof, and I am assuming that your mounting the ezpass on the inside glass of the sunroof with a ezpass mounting bracket, what happens if you want to open your sunroof?
