Three icebear babys were born in the Nürnberg zoo around christmas.
Two were eaten by their mother (sorry, but that's the thruth), the other mother kicked her baby out into the cold today.
Now to save this icebear baby, it will be fed by the keeper.
So if anyone misses Knut, you know were to go in your ED... ;)

Just saw this on the N-TV newscast with video of the Mutter Eisbär unceremoniously casting out the baby.
What happened to Knut? Last I heard he was doing well.
Speaking of polar bears. I was in Alaska about ten years ago in October for some job interviews. One of the articles in the Anchorage paper talked about a village having to increase their polar bear patrols. The local was quoted as saying "we wouldn't want a bear to snatch one of our little gobblins". I don't know why but that quote always struck me as funny. They were polar bears roaming around and they were very casual about the whole thing.

Thank you. I read that as if he did not survive.

Well I meant " miss the little cute baby Knut" which he is not anymore.
Yes polar bears are not so cute and cuddly when they are ten feet tall and a 1,000 lbs of of hungry muscle.
