HELP no windows, sunroof or low speed wipers

First let me say thanks for all the great info here. I replaced the engine in my 91 535 over the weekend, and now my windows, low speed wipers and sunroof will not work.

Now I know that the most common cause is the fuse link(s) by the battery, but those look fine and I am getting full battery voltage thru the links. I have also checked the fuses under the rear seat and in the engine compartment. Looking at a schematic it appears that the only other issue could be the GM or the power protection relay.

Does anyone know the procedure for checking the GM ? Is it as simple as checking for power at the correct pins. Again I had no issues with these components before disconnecting the battery for the engine swap.

Did you try removing them. They usually look fine but have small cracks near the posts.

I jumpered the links to see in that would change anything, it did not. I pulled the power protection relay and made sure that I had power getting to the relay. That checked out fine but then found out that I also have about 6 volts at pin #2 in the relay socket. If I am correct this should be feeding the GM power input from the relay. When I remove the GM the voltage at pin #2 Goes away.
