Hi, I have a 95' 318i, with front heated seats.
When I press the buttons the lights come on, however the seats don't heat up.
Both seats (driver and passenger) stopped at the same time. But the buttons seem to work because the lights come on.
Does anyone know what is wrong?
Thanks

If both heated seats stopped at the exact same time then you either have a blown fuse or a bad connection that both share, ie. power or ground. It is rare for two related appliances to expire at the same time without cause. If it is a fuse, replace with the same amperage and watch it for the next little while because fuses don't just crap the bed. When the appliance exceeds the current limit, it blows the fuse. Investigate why the fuse blows and it'll save you some grief and $ in the long run.
If one of the seats stopped and then a little later the other one did the same, you have different issues other than the fuse. It could be the switches, the wiring, or the heat elements inside the seat.
:) Good Luck
