Hey guys,
I don't have a e36 manual and couldn't find a scan online so have to ask...for a 99 328is, are there seperate warning lights for ABS and ASC+T or is it just that triangular one in the middle of the cluster? I have the triangular one lit up on my car and the indy i went to said the ABS pump needs to be replaced...I just wanna make sure...before I swap the pump out.

BTW are the carsoft modules sold on ebay and all able to pick up ABS faults or any other system faults from DME? I would like a BMW GT-1 but no money for that....

Thanks

On mine there's two lights, one for ABS and one for ASC. If the ABS fails for some reason then both the ABS and ASC light will illuminate because the ASC requires the ABS. However, if the ASC illuminates but not the ABS then the fault is not related to the ABS.

Having said that, you have to be sure that the ABS trouble light is not burnt out as the cause to why it is not illuminating. If this is not the case and the ABS light works but is not illuminated then the ASC fault light is not related to any of the ABS components.

good luck
