Is there an easy way to pull Bluetooth passcode from X3s computer? Dealer would charge $60. I thought I'd check here before going to the dealership. Thanks!

It is printed on the Bluetooth ULF module. I don't know where the module is located on the X3, but on the E53 X5, it is in the left rear storage compartment.

Thanks! I'll look around. Is it usually 4-digit code?

Yup, it's it's in the left rear. Just pull out the panel and you'll see a sticker with the four digit number you need for pairing. No trip to the dealer, or cash outlay required.

Might sound like a dumb question, but what exactly is 'rear storage compartment'? :) I've had the car for only a couple of days and not really familiar with it yet. Is it inside the cabin or in the trunk area?

Thanks!

Open the rear overhead door. Look on the left side. The panel with the pocket and a mesh cover. There is a button that you can press in and it located towards the top. This will release the panel. Pop/pull the panel out. You will see a rectangular box with some white stickers on it. Look for the four digits there.

Thanks for your help, guys. For some reason, there are no stickers on the box. It seems to be the same box, but no stickers on it. Wonder why.....

I know :( I wrote to Customer Support on BMW USA website if they could pull the pass code using VIN Number. Probably a shot in the dark...we'll see

Is it possible that the module is rotated or that they stick it on a different side?

Not much help, but just a thought.

I don't know. It looks right, just no sticker. In fact, it looks like the sticker was never there...
