My wife left the lights on (it's about 35 degrees here) and the 10 month old battery died.
She does a lot of city driving so I'm sure it doesn't get charged well.
The question is - where is the battery (I looked under the seat, but I think it's more under the rear panel). Any way, the locks don't open so how do I get into the back seat or rear of the vehicle to replace or remove the battery?
Also, while I had the back seat removed, there are these two cords that individually go into the pan under the seat. I pulled on one, it came up but won't retract. I hope I didn't screw anything up. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Jon

If you have a battery charger or jumper cables, connect them to the power point under the hood to get power to the door locks, then you can unlock everything. Otherwise, just open the back doors from the inside, pulling the handle twice.

The battery is in the cargo area under the spare tire! You have to remove the tire, then some round dome thing, and the battery is under that.
