Hi PCD team -- I already can't wait to meet you all this coming summer, and I had a question about scheduling that... My car is coming via ED, and after that trip my available vacation time will be stretched pretty thin -- so I was wondering if my CA would be able to select a Friday for the trip? I realize you have been getting more and more popular, but I won't be needing a product specialist, just the key at the end of the day.

I also realize it can be case by case, but a general answer would be helpful enough :)

Congrats  Look forward to seeing you here!

No guarantees, but make sure your CA notes clearly on the reservation form that you do not need a vehicle overview and would like a Friday. That allows us to fit you in on a day we are already full (as long as we have enough vehicles in our fleet to accomodate the driving rotation). Obviously Friday is our most requested day so we get full with regular and no overview deliveries quickly so we may have to extend your re-delivery out a week or so.

Please note that No Overview is just that. We will make a copy of your tag and driver's license and hand you the keys. Lately we have added people wanting no overview and when they get here they are demanding that someone help them pair bluetooth phones or activate satellite radio. Unfortunately we will not be able to accomodate these requests.

Also keep in mind that we will not be able to do any kind of deliveries from April 7th - 25th (on average it has been taking 8 - 10 weeks from the ED drop-off date before we are able to delivery the vehicle). Our facility is being used for the US launch of the X6, M3 and 1 series during this time. A bulletin will be released to the dealers regarding this any day now.

I hope you have a great time in Europe. Please keep me up to date on we you think you will be coming here to take delivery. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Hi Jonathan,

Quick..probably pretty dumb question, but I'm hoping you can help me. I'm looking at doing a PCD delivery sometime around Memorial Day. Can you tell me if the days around that weekend are already booked up? I imagine it's a pretty popular time. I was thinking I'd order from the dealer in late February...but based on that April S/D I'm thinking I might need to move my schedule up? Appreciate it...

We are not booked up yet for that time period but most definetely will as we get closer. Keep in mind we are closed on Memorial Day (so they week will probably fill up faster since it only has 4 days).

A bulletin has been sent out to dealers regarding the April shutdown also stating to avoid using the following production weeks if there customer requests a PCD:

• X5’s and Z4’s - Production weeks 12 and 13 will be unavailable for Performance Center Delivery.

• For all other models – Production weeks 8, 9 and 10 will be unavailable for Performance Center Delivery.

Let me know if you have any further questions. I look forward to meeting you in May
