Looks like Dinan does deliver........
Some things to note:
-These are the last two of a series of 5 runs. The first three were spent trying to get the tranny to behave like the dyno guy wanted
-It looks like the dyno RPMs are off by a factor of 800-1000 RPM
-Peak tq at 361 is bs. I think it was in 3rd when that occured. Check it out at around 5300 rpm. That was in 4th gear and is a liitle lower than what I expected.
The peak hp is right on the money (412 adjusted) if you allow 17% power loss with the auto tranny. The dyno guy suggested 20-22%, but he is Mustang shop..this was done on a Dynojet 248
-The car needs to warm up.. the first resulted in some pinging due to overrevving and relatively cold engine! (I think)
-When you get the car in 4th, you need to mash it down to where the kickdown button is fairly quickly so that the parasitic effect of the dyno is overcome quickly. The difference in the last two runs show this.
Any comments, thoughts etc are welcome
Mike
