View Full Version : Are we importing a young Fuzz from somewhere to Bimmerfest in California this year?

If so my vote has to go to Clankers.....aka Jetter2. He's been stuck in that horrible Dallas-Ft.Worth Metroplex forever and needs a change of scenery if only for a long weekend. Additionally he's more than due to meet a California Cougar to help round out his education.

What says the Scurvy Crew?

Sounds like you're calling the ball. What's the plan? I am sure a lot of 'Festers will get behind the effort.

Clankers being a fellow Texan was the very first one that came to mind. However....a Hopple in college would be a great choice. :D

We need to evaluate the Last Importer's methods and glean what went right and what went wrong. Where you be Jorge when we all need you?

Bottomline........it would be a nice gesture if done correctly.

Stupid Q... looking at flights. No Santa Barbara airport???

Cliff
02-11-2008, 05:33 AM
It's a small regional airport. You'd have to fly into LAX or one of the other larger LA area airports, then look for something flying from there to Santa Barbara. Or rent a car and drive up - it's not very far.

I was set to drive out there (I want to bring my bike), visit a friend in AZ then check out CA. ...BUT, I forgot our wedding anniv is on May 12th...and I'd still be gone for that.

SO the plan is as follows: Hubby needs to see if he's got any PTO- since he just started. If he does, we're going to go somewhere for our anniv. If not, I'm going to go out west!
