X3 owners,

I am trying to get an X3 off an auction for 17K. Main features are

41 K Miles
Premium Package
6 Speed Manual
Not Leather
Panoramic Glass Roof
Woodgrain Interior Package

What do you think on the price, its an auction vehicle (Leased). How much more you think I can go for??

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

correct me if I'm wrong: but Premium = Leather.

But it says BLK-Vinyl interior and also Premium Package, must be a typo in one of these. But that apart what do you think?

Not for the 2.5i. Premium includes:

multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, foglamps, power seats, automatic climate control, wood trim, 4-function computer, rain sensor, automatic headlamps, and the centre armrest. May have missed a few (perhaps the windshield is included as well), but that's the major stuff you get.

The 2.5i also cannot be had with lumbar support even with Premium (like mine..........you can imagine my disappointment).

Make sure the service history checks out, especially cuz its a 1st model year car. Otherwise, it looks like a good deal.

The auction went over 18K and my dealer did not bid. Anyway thanks for all your input and please keep me posted if you find any interesting deal.

Yea, unfortunately the X3 ( and BMWs in general) doesn't depreciate that quickly. Even the most basic '04 2.5i runs in the low to mid 20s.

I think I am finally trying to buy another 2004 X3 2.5 Manual white with 56K Miles on it with Premium package, the price 16 K. I saw some on auto trader which were better but they were all the way on the west coast and I am in Fl. I think 16 K is reasonable but I need to get extended warranty on it. Any suggestions?
