735i 1988 Trunk Lock

Keys locked inside of trunk. Anybody know of a hidden release or any other way to get into the trunk thanks

If you can get through the ski passage it can be opened from inside by removing the lining for access to the button/lock. There are two linkages that attatch to it. They pop off easily, one of them will operate the latch.
The lining will be difficult to remove as is goes over the latch and the bumpers on the trunk lid, also the four quarter turn fasteners inaccessible with the lid closed. You will probably end up cutting a hole behind the button area.
The dealer can make you a key from code if provided with your VIN and proof of ownership, and about $40 unless your car uses the very old style key.
