I like the color also, seems to fit the car. The wheels I'm not so sure of, I like the 5 spoke 20" for x6 5.0 better

Palbay,
I saw that same exact car in Lexington KY yesterday afternoon (same tag). I was down there visiting my in laws, and the guy was at Wal-Mart. I drove by, gave him a thumbs up (to which he happily responded with the same), then got up the nerve to just walk up and talk to him. He said he had just driven up from Spartanburg the day before.
He states he worked at the plant in Spartanburg and that his wife was a PCD specialist. It was an absolutely beautiful vehicle. Seemed to be fully loaded with HUD, Active/Vent seats, Nav, Sport package. The only option he said it didn't have was Auto tailgate.
Very nice guy. Chatted with him about five minutes. States that it holds and hugs the roads much more like a E60 than an E70. Also states that, while he hadn't driven the TT V8, that the TT 6 was "plenty powerful".
My wife, mother-in-law and father-in-law are now convinced that I have completely lost my mind and have given up hope of my addiction to BMW.
Just thought I would share.

J Neat info.I saw the guy and a lady get in the car as I was leaving the shopping center.Thought about going back and talking but I was already out on the street. If I remember correctly, the guy was kind of a lean, wiry (some might say skinny) fellow. This Silver X6 is by far the best looking of all the ones I've spotted in town.I tell people it represents exactly what an X6 looks like in the metal. I appreciate the nice story! Thanks! PalBay

I am very impressed by this vehicle overall. I just don't think I am willing to pay the premium over an e60 for my uses to get the TT V8.
In concept, it would make sense for me, but when I need the extra room or towing capacity I can use my X5. The X6 equally equipped to my 550i I have on order through ED would be about $15000 (that is if the options are similarly priced to the X5 and the base starts in the low 60's). I like it, but don't think I like it that much. Maybe next time around and with the SD diesel..... Will have to see.
