--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Howdy everyone. I have been looking for an E36 for a while now to drive when it is raining and I leave my motorcycle in the garage.

This one finally convinced me to stop looking.

DINAN STAGE 3 M3---COUPE---MINT WITH SUPER LO MILES--IT IS AN ANIMAL----PERIOD----IN GREAT SHAPE---YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW STRONG THIS IS!

It should be here in about two weeks. I would have loved to secure an Evolution drive train for it but...I guess I can live with this one.

I have been reading many topics in the E36 forums and Dinan seems to inspire love or hate but never apathy. I look forward to meeting many of you and learning from those of you who wrench on their own cars.

Wow, super low miles... I see that the auction "reserve was not me"t? So what did you have to shell out for this fine Fern Green beauty??

Weeeelllllll...a little more than I wanted. I really wanted an unmolested 99 M3 and found one with only 18,500 miles. That guy wouldn't budge off $26.5k. These guys listed this one at least three times and we discussed it for more than 3 weeks.

Finally settled on $22k delivered to GA. I wanted to pick it up in Cali but the taxes would have been twice the delivery cost...KBB for that model and mileage WITHOUT any Dinan mods is $18k.

You wouldn't have had to pay Cali taxes if you were taking it out of state.

I thought so also but later found that I would.

And I was seriously looking at an E39 M5 but I do not want any of the electrical nannys hleping me drive and the E36 M3 Coupe is one of the all time most neutral handling cars in the history of ever. So i just found the best example I could. Not quite my dream (Avus Blue and Dove interior) but in my dream the car had more miles and none of the upgrades. :)

I can hardly wait for it to arrive.

Sorry, I didn't realize that YOUR E46 was the one you were referring to. I just prefer the E36. GL with your sale.

WOW...the car arrived last night from California. A few items that were not disclosed but under the hood is as advertised!

The suspension and reprogrammed computer are also truly amazing.

I will post up some pix this weekend.

Installed a Rogue SSK and new lighted shift know this weekend. Removed the CDV while I was under there.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

When above 6k the cluthc would slip with the cdv previously...now it just hauls.

Had it dynoed and new tires mounted this past week. 297 at the wheels. :) pretty good but being a Dinan SC it is milder than can be expected from forced induction now that it is out of warranty and i will be slowly upgrading it.

It is a complete giggle-fest evry time i strap in.
