Usually you have to upload them to a site such as photobucket.com first. Then you put the link in the image tags, like this: IMAGE ADRESS GOES HERE

Use the little paper clip looking icon...it will allow you to upload directly to this site as an attachment...pretty simple.

starioncorrado,

there is a difference between posting a picture and using a picture(s) for your avatar or signature or in a post. The easy way to post a picture in a post from your computer. Posting a picture(s) in my avatar (spacewalk) or signature (330i and back of girl) requires that you have a photo album host. Some have mentioned some of the hosts here. I use photobucket.com

To post a picture from your computer (a picture located in some photo folder or desktop)

1. To reply to a post you either click "quote" at the bottom or "post reply" at the top of the window.
2. Click "manage attachment" down at the bottom under "additional options" .
3. Click "browse". Locate where in your computer is the photo located, click "open" from your computer window. That will put the link from your computer to the "browse" window.
4. Once the link where the picture is located in your computer shows up in the window, click "upload", then click "close this window".
5. Close the window by clicking [X], and click "submit reply". That's it.

Now there are variations in posting pictures. Doing the above will get you a thumbnail in the post. To get a full picture, that's another lesson. When someone wants to see the picture you have just posted, he clicks on the picture, which will bring the thumbnail to full size. There are restriction on the size of the picture you are allowed to post. You can read the restrictions under the "attachment key" in the posting picture window.

Everyone in the known universe has been able to post the "countdown" to his/her/their days remaining to or time since Euro pick up. I * have * no *clue. :dunno: I tried once I found the ticker website but could not install this.

Could you explain how this might be accomplished? :roundel:

Clearly I can cut and paste all of the little squiggly smiles, but that seems to be the extent of my posting expertise so far.
