Did anyone get a delivery date sooner than March 22, 2008 ?

No I believe that will be the earliest date of arrival. I can't wait for the new bmw 1 series (http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/12/27/buzz-garage-bmw-1-series/) its amazing and I can't wait to see how it handles on the road with the 135i twin turbocharged 3.0 liter v6 engine pumping 300 horsepower. Does anyone happen to know if there are any waiting lists pending?

True, considering that BMW have never made v6 yet (at least, to be used in cars :) )

March 22 is first date they can show/deliver. My dealer is having an official unveiling on 3/29. I mentioned to GM what color combo, options I thought would be a good build at the local auto show.....he went ahead and ordered on using my input :nono: Tempting SOB....:spank:

The 1 Series is expected to arrive on March 22, 2008.

nothing earlier. the guys here at Cars International in Stuttgart are not having their launch until the 29th. So no deliveries before then. I was able to test drive a german spec 135i with 6spd and my gosh was it awesome!!!

many people, including myself, have been informed by their CA that their car should arrive at their dealership around the 14th.

it appears BMW is shipping the cars from the VPCs starting around the 13th and depending on your distance from the VPC you may or may not get it before the 22nd.

as an update the Military Sales location here, Cars International, just got their 135 demo today. it looks great! The Sedona Red is awesome.

Talked to a friend today and was told that his 135 will be ready for pick-up on Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th of next week at BMW North in Houston Texas

Also - Just found out instead of the 40,000 1's coming to the US, its been reduced to 15,000.

does that say 17MPG city? Ouch. My big v8 gets 19 in my experience.
