1986/87 bmw: portland oregon: have a peake code reader?

hi,

anybody in portland oregon have a peake code reader tool for a 1986 bmw 535i?

can't find a cheap one on ebay at the moment... maybe you could help me out?

just want to see what error codes i have. figure the repair shop will want lots of money to do this... anyways just thought i'd check and see... maybe their are some cool car club people on the forum in portland.

Our cars don't store error codes. The only e28 with a "code" system was the 1988 528e or super eta because it had a newer Motronic version.
