If you're near Denver, I'll sell you my 19 inchers. They are like new, come with the stock Scorpion STRs which have about 10k on them.

Here is a thread with some chrome 22's on an X3. Just go down to post #9.

Wow, 22's on an X3! Talk about a hard riding beast. I have enough problems with the factory option 18's on anything but a smooth asphalt (no expansion joints) highway. In town with the nasty potholed streets it rides like an unsprung farm truck! I can't imagine how 22's would be.

I thought CA had good roads..:dunno:

That's one reason why I'm staying with the stock 17"s...Long Island/NYC is the worst pothole offender.

I'm not a big fan of the 20"ers that Mystic showed us. The chrome schnitzner pics seem to fit the X.

I do appreciate that there other X3 drivers who don't come down on the people who look beyond the 17" and 18." When I was configuring my car and went to place my order, there were members of the 'Fest who came down on me for ordering the 19" wheels. If NJ wasn't the official state of the pothole...

Show your X style.

STE, well I guess CA has good roads, they must because they are always working on them and digging them up it seems. HG sorry to come off as critical of those who want bigger wheels. I was just expressing my amazement at 22's on an X3, which is a well known hard riding machine even with the stockers. But hey, whatever works, and to each his/her own.

I do not like the look of those rims either. I just posted that link to show they can fit. Personally, I think the OEM BMW 5 spoke patterns look the best on the X3's. I just put on X5 style 99's with a 6mm lower offset with 255 55R18's on it and they look good. The taller tire filling out the wheelwell looks better IMO, but the tire diameter is off by a significant margin. At 60 mph, we will now read 54. But these are winter wheels only so we will have to deal with that issue for only 4 months or so.

I'll start another thread for the pics since they aren't 20's.
