View Full Version : Why was my request for substantive posts from a member here removed?
There was nothing inflammatory in the thread. There wasn't even anything impolite in the thread. It was merely a request for SUBSTANCE.
How is that problematic?
I'm not the one posting hundreds of YouTube videos, spamming up threads. How is a request for actual content out of line?

Why was you request for feedback posted in the wrong forum?

Apparently I should answer your 'resonable' question, but you don't have to answer mine?

I posted :jack: after my thread was moved BEFORE you posted. Since I didn't quote myself, I wanted to make sure you DIDN'T think the :jack: was in response to your post. Because your post wasn't there when I went to post :jack:.
Check post times if you don't believe me.
I'd love an actual response as to what was wrong with that thread rather than a silly attempt at "gotcha" WRT :jack:.

I'd love an actual response as well.

While you think about that I've gotten bored waiting so I'll answer your question.
Your thread was inflammatory and called out a member. In addition to calling him out, you attacked him (saying someone doesn't have a clue and isn't intelligent = attack) and in the finally of your rant you made the following statement 'In other words, CONTRIBUTE here. Or just go away.'. I wasn't aware you had the ability to pick and choose who can and cannot contribute at Bimmerfest.com (sarcasm).
TD I have no doubt in my mind that you were aware of what you were doing when you posted and knew exactly why it was removed. Please stop wasting the moderators time.
Also in the future use the right forum.
Tim
If you mean why did I post this thread in Poly Sci, it's because that's where the thread was and that's where it seemed relevant. It was not some deliberate breaking of the rules. It just seems silly to burden the whole board with a forum-specific concern.

This topic has nothing to do with Poly Sci, why should the readers in that forum be burdened with your off topic question?
Anyways I appreciate that it wasn't an intentional thing. That is how I viewed it, and for that I apologize.
