It was kind fo a pain in the butt! I had one guy help out.

The only reason this was a pain was the 6 bolts on the rear water manifold, they were a BITCH to get off. Adding further to this was the fact we had to take them off twice! Why you may ask? Well we forgot to put the knock sensors back in and as we all know those coolant water pipes are in the way.

Actually taking them off a second time was a bit easier. One DYI poster said that using GASKET TACK for the two gaskets in the rear water manifold was a good idea. Actually it is THE ONLY WAY TO GO on this job!!! That little can of tack saved us loads of time. We tried putting the gaskets on w/o using the tack but they kept falling down due to the limited space back there.

Basically it took 7 hours to complete. After checking everything three times and re-adding the lost coolant everything went great. The car started up fine, the temp was fine, and NO leaks anywhere, however I did notice a small oil leak which appeared to be coming from a valve cover, no biggie.

IT'S DONE!
