I am new to the forum.
Currently working on converting my 78 320i into a track/street car. I was wondering if it would help performance to switch from the K Jetronic to a weber setup? I have done nothing to the motor with the exception of dumping the A/C and smog junk.
Does anyone have a spec sheet that discribes a good weber setup for a stock 2.0?

I can't specifically answer your question about a spec sheet, but many years ago I used to have an E21 with a Korman stage2 motor...Schrick 304 cam, 45mm sidedraft Webers, pistons, headers, etc. The Webers make a huge difference on this engine of course, but even on a stock motor they will make a nice improvement. For a stock motor, using the 40 mm Webers would likley work better. You'll need help getting the proper choke size and jetting. Korman Autoworks has 30 years of experience with Webers, so that might be a good place to start?

Thanks for the feedback. I just ordered a weber conversion kit with the 45s along with a header and higher flowing exhaust setup.
