Hello,

Does anyone have the stoneguard on their M3? Or know an installer in Boston?

Hey dude,

Try the 3M website...they have a list of local installers throughout the country.

This is a very good product.

I have the stongard kit on mine. If you look closely to the right of the hood, you would be able to see it... http://members.roadfly.com/jhso/DSC00905.JPG

Which one did you get, the one from BMW?

Inskip BMW in Warwick, RI had a red M3 in their showroom this weekend that has stoneguard on it (or at least I think it's stoneguard, it could be another manufacturer's product). If you'll be in the area any time soon, you might want to stop by and take a look at it in person, assuming they still have the car in stock.

The kit is from Stongard themselves. I had a body shop do the install...

Do you mind me asking how much? Was it worth it?

the kit itself was about $400. Labor is extra. The shop that I went to did it as a favor for me. It's definitely worth it. I had it on my Boxster S and after 12000 miles, it was still looking brand new and saved the hood and bumper from rock chips and such. Well worth it.
Here's a pic of the stongard kit on my old Boxster S...

I agree with Josh....this is a great product. If you get the package that covers the hood, front bumper, head lights, fog lights and side mirrors....it should set you back about $ 700 to
$ 800...like Josh said this is well worth it.

Good Luck!
