Really slow rebate

I bought a set of Dunlop WinterSports from Tirerack back in late October, promptly sent in the rebate paperwork, and then forgot about it. Good thing I did, because the $50 check just arrived this past Saturday! That's a slow turnaround for a rebate, but at least it eventually arrived as a total surprise (I was also confused because the envelope had the Goodyear logo on it).

Yeah, rebate programs are always really slow, almost every company takes really long, I have experienced this first hand, and so have you. Thats why I dont even pay attention to adds that say anything about rebates.

From what I heard, they use that money and then basically give it back without interest, your supposed "benefit" is the rebate itself which is bullcrap.

i'm still waiting for mine. called a month ago, they said it would be sent out that Friday. guess its taking the slow boat from like Australia....

Goodyear owns Dunlop now. Unfortunately we've seen very slow rebate fullfillment lately.
