I've finally decided on the 17x8.5 Kosei K1 from tire rack (for e90 328i sport) but I want center caps. The 16x7's on tire rack come with center caps, anyone know why these won't fit the 17x8.5's???

Otherwise, what center caps will work? Maybe BMW center caps?

Finally, anyone know how to DIY some center caps in case none of the above works?

I'm mainly concerned with keeping dirt and grime out of the bolt in the center but some roundels would be nice.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I can see, at least on the E46, there's no way for a center cap to be used with the K1's. These are "racing" wheels, so their finish isn't quite as good as a road wheel, and no center caps since they tend to fly off during track use.

Here are some pics (http://jvrconsulting.com/Gallery/album17) of my car with the K1's. The last two, when viewed at their large resolution, show how the hub consumes all of the center bore on the K1 making it impossible to install a center cap.

jvr826 is correct. In some sizes these wheels were designed to accept a cap, however there is not a cap that fits the BMW 17X8.5" version, sorry.

Great for track use or a street tuner look.
