New 330i ZHP Mystic Blue

My local dealer called me on Saturday to tell me that he had a Mystic Blue ZHP in stock. I had been looking for a 330i with a manual tranmission with the premium and cold weather packages, but wanted to see a performance package car first before making a decision.

To make a long story short, I bought it and drove it home on Sunday. It has:

- Performance package
- Moonroof
- Heated seats
- Black leather seats
- Xenon head lights

The black leather interior goes really well with the aluminum trim. It's a great car! The more I drive it the more I like it! I liked the 1996 328i I had before it a lot, but this one is much nicer.

It is as BMW says The Ultimate Driving Machine. I am very pleased!

It's really pissing me off. The dealer near me doesn't have any 2004 coupes or ZHP's.

They did however, have an Alpina Z8, Old CLK55 AMG, new CLK55 AMG, SLK55 AMG, E55 AMG, and C32 AMG in the front.

What dealer did you buy from? Herb Chambers?

BMW Gallery in Norwood doesn't have any ZHP's either that I've seen, and I'd really like to check one out in person. (Although they did have a nice CB/Cinnamon M3)

I live only a couple of miles away from Foreign Motors West. I did not order from anyone in Mass. I ordered from Passport in MD. I got a VERY good deal on my Euro delivery ZHP. I don't mind Maryland because my best friend lives there. So I will visit him when I go pick up my car.

Congratulations! Oh, I love it when folks get new cars!

I'm interested in your on-going driving impressions - how do you like the short shift? the stiffer suspension? the HP difference?

Are you going to get different tires, or keep the stock ones - what did you get - Continentals or Michelins(?)!

Althogh I would flip out if there ever was a SLK55 AMG. That would just be ridicuous.:tsk:


About the Mystic ZHP. It looks great! A little too dark for my taste, but very sharp.

Congratulations! Another ZHP owner. Mystic Blue looks really nice. So far it seems like the ZHP looks good in whatever color. Is it because of the overall matching of the aero kit, the shadowline trim, and the wheels together to show this effect?

I just ordered my ZHP. Do not know if it comes with the center arm rest and consol. My 2000 323i sport does not have it and I have learned to live without it but do like it when I drive another car. Did your car come with the arm rest?

I ordered a 330i, ZHP, silver grey, cold weather, moon roof three weeks ago. Luckily Baron BMW in KC had one in its allocation going to production the following week.

Owner's Circle reports that it is awaiting shipment. What is the 800 # to get more specific information? I know of the shipping company site but do not know how you get the specific information from BMW NA.

It was tough but the day I ordered the car a silver gray M3 was delivered and I fell in love with it. There will be a Jayhawk in the back window! Rock Chalk!!

No. On mine, there are a set of buttons that raise and lower the volumn, and another to advance to the next preset station on the radio. As far as i can tell there is not a way to switch modes.

I thought that scrolling through the presets would advance through FM1, FM2, and AM?

Actually in the manual it says the "R/T" button on the steering wheel is supposed to switch between modes... My original sport wheel didn't do it and now my M3 wheel also doesn't do it.... What gives? Is the manual wrong or BMW screwed up this one?
