My instrument cluster tells me my next service is due in 4000 miles or 3 months. My car has 44,000 miles and its a 02 745i.
Im thinking of having my mechanic of 13 years do the service (using BMW parts) and pay half of what the dealer is asking. Only thing is, he said he doesnt have the tools needed to reset the schedule on the instrument cluster.
Does the dealer do this using a computer or can I do it myself? Thanks.
