these are shipping tips.
Just sold my 189s and I got some tips for future sellers.
The wheels fit perfect (and by perfect, I mena PERFECT) in a U-haul box sized 24"X24"X10". you put 2 wheels per box, bubble wrap each individual spoke and place them so their backs touch. make sure you tape around the box as well as sealing it.
shipping cost (UPS ground)...
2 wheels with the box weight 117lbs. so use that to calculate shipping charges on UPS.com (i shipped from SoCal to TX and it cost me $227 w/insurance total for 2 packages)
Insurance is $23 for declared value of $1550
2 above said boxes and a roll of reinforced tape cost $20
I lost about $30 on shipping/insurance/packageing material
so don't make the mistake I made and charge the right price.
