Just bought some locking wheel studs but have found they are around 10mm longer than my existing studs. Is it possible to foul anything in the hubs by having longer studs in? I have gently screwed them in by hand and they do go all the way in. I've searched this but can't find anything. Many thanks.

No, longer studs won't harm anything. The stud only goes to a certain depth behind the hub, the extra length is all visible to the outside of the wheel only. You can have 85 ft. studs if you want

Great, thanks. I'll go and pop them in now.

OUCH !!!!!!!!!
Just put the studs in and when I moved the car forward, the wheels locked. It was a bu**er to get the right rear one out.
You may need to reconsider your views on the length of wheel studs.

:dunno: I've put 20mm longer studs into my hubs before and had zero problems, with 10mm longer you really shouldn't have had any issues..

I guess it all depends then on what length thread one had in before.
Lesson learned:bawling:. Same length replacements for me, the others are history:thumbdwn:
