Supposed to get new tires on Friday, but there could be a problem. I need a lug key for an inverted 15 spline lug nut. No one in town has anything.

I know this is kind of a WTB thread, but I put it in the tires and wheels section for more attention.

those are OEM bmw wheel locks. the dealer should have all the possible keys for that.

Dealer said that's aftermarket. I'm not surprised considering the person they have in the parts counter.

the trick is to figure out which code it is. the splines are different.

stupid question, did you check the toolkit for the key? there's a spot in it for that.

Or wrapped in a rag/paper towel in the bottom of the spare tire well....

I found it.... Under the passenger seat. Thanks for all the replies. I'm printing this off and taking to the dealer. They say it's aftermarket and spent more time making excuses because the car has aftermarket wheels then taking time to actually look at it.
