Ive stated this on the halp thread before , but i was kinda hoping for further help on this, ive read up on some stuff had heard some info that the only diff cosmetically is that the sides skirts, spoiler, and bumper are different? or scratch that, easily exchangeable those are the only ones, fenders and quarter pannels are different also. but i dont think i will concern myself with that at the moment. Also i hear the Suspension is interchangeable and some other odds and ends. What is interchangeable and what isnt.

Also i realize i was given some sites to look at and buy things but i was hoping for a more generalized search. as in something that concentrates more towards my car, or heck just find someone who has forgotten more about this car that ill ever know! anything further would be gladly apreciated. At any rate, i hope for something.

front fenders are interchangeable. Rear pillar rake is different on the ///M than regular e30

You can swap the e30 ///M suspesion over with no modifications. Art Simonds an original BMW M fabricator did it on his wifes car IIRC. Not a full blown conversion, but just the rear pillar. Took many hours and much time. For the price of the conversion, you could easily buy the car. just my .02cents

id say just buy an m3. it would be alot of work to make an m3 out of a spec e30. ive pondered the idea before. but decided against it. look fopr a totaled or a stripped m3 frame and go from there

Your other problem will be plastic bumpers - I think you need an '88 or later for the bumper swap to work. If you have an '86 I think you are SOL.

do you mean stock e30s? spec e30 is a spec racing class for e30s.

i was just hoping to beef the car up cosmetically, get some flash out of it. A sporty look as it were.

:/ i was hoping that wasnt the path to take, i work at a local body shop and do not look forward to fixing the messups and waves and parts that are not Guaranteed fitments. Also there are a billion different body kits and "OEM" spoilers, i would rather not buy a spoiler an it arrive looking like one of the park benches kids put on the back of their honda's. Where are bodykits that go for this car, i saw one person made a thread, but where are others? And getting a REAL OEM spoiler? where do i find that. :) any help would be fantastic.
