I have 17,500 miles on my 2007 328i. I purchased the car in 2/07; the car came with the Touranza RFTs.

My back tires are bald. Needless to say I am very unhappy. At this rate I will be purchasing a set of tires a year!

Do I go back to BMW to get another set? Should I get a different brand with someone other than BMW and if so what kind?

If you want a great summer tire, look into the Goodyear F1 GS-D3. It was the #1 rated tire by Car and Driver, vastly improved handling on my car from the the OEM tires, great wet and dry grip, good tread life for a summer tire (fest members are reporting 25K to 30K plus)and they're pretty reasonably priced too compared to other tires in its class.
