Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season vs Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 summer
2008 335i coupe sports (staggered tires) with 850 miles and I have decided to drop the Bridgestone run flats. I have just started to push the car, (nice weather) and in the turns with bumps the car jitters, so they are coming off.
How much performance am I giving up by getting the all seasons. I do drive aggressively but have no plans to race or track the car.
Thanks in advance for your advise and thoughts.

I personally love the F1 summer tires and have run them on my R32 and my 330i zhp. They are a very very good tire that does everything very well. However if you are worried about them in the winter I'd go with a all season.

All-seasons will be a big step down in handling.. Don't do it..

In warm weather, wet or dry, the GSD3 has noticeably more grip. The F1 AS has snow capability, and better traction in colder weather (below 45 degrees or so). The GSD3 will have better handling, but not a night and day difference, as the F1 AS is one of the better handling all season tires.
Based on the fact that you are taking off your tires to get more cornering ability, I would probably advise the GSD3.

Agreed. As far as all seasons go the F1 A/S is about the best for dry grip and steering response, but they are still a noticeable step down from most summer tires.
