Wipe blades nor making good contact

2008 528i. The wiper blades are not making good contact. Its sufficient to remove water, but won't even tough a bug or anything else that gets on the windhshield.

Anybody else exoerience the same or have a fix?

Tht sounds like normal operation to me - most wipers will not remove "tough bugs" in my experience.

Not really taking about tough bugs but rather "fresh" bugs. wiper contact is not even sufficient to smear it

Ask the dealer to replace them--they're covered under the maintenance program.
