I am selling a Brand New set of BBS RG-R's with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions. The tires are mounted and balanced and are ready to go on your car. I bought the wheels and tires a month ago from The Tirerack. I was told that they would fit my car (2002 BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0i) but they do not, my car has been lowered and Tirerack will not take them back. If you have a stock suspension, they will fit fine. If you have anything other than stock or if you have a non-Z3 BMW, please contact a local wheel/tire company and confirm fitment. It breaks my heart to sell these wheels. They are absolutely gorgeous. When I got the wheels, I spent 2 weeks applying 4+ coats of wax while I was waiting for the weather to get nice (my car is a garage queen). When I put the wheels on, I literally only drove them around the block. That is all it took before I heard the tires rubbing. The car was immediately returned to the garage where the wheels were removed. As you can see in the pics, the tires still have the yellow and pink paint on them, that is how little these guys have been used. After removing the wheels, I cleaned them twice, waxed them again, took the pictures you see here and then wrapped them in beach towels for protection. The wheels and tires have less than 5 miles on them. They do not have a single, blemish, nick, scrap, scratch or any flaw whatsoever.

The wheels are 18" x 8.5" wide. They are mounted with Bridgestone S-03's that are 225/40ZR18 for the front and Bridgestone S-03's that are 255/35ZR18 for the rear. The offset is 38mm.

New from Tire Rack, this set up costs:
BBS RG-R: $539.00 each ($2156.00)
S-03's (225): $178.00 each ($356.00)
S-03's (255): $221.00 each ($442.00)
--------------
Total: $2954.00 + shipping

I am selling this set up for $2750.00 + $100.00 for FedEx Ground Service (Insured for full retail value-Tirerack's price) and will email you thee tracking number when they are sent. I am also including the 20 lug bolts that came with the wheels.

FYI, 18x8.5 RG-Rs weigh 18.5 pounds.

For reference, other BBS wheels in 18x8.5 weigh:

RK2 = 23 pounds
RS2 = 24
RX = 26.1
LM = 22.4
CH = 24.5
RC = 18.7

RK in 18x7.5 = 18.2

Yes.

They are bad ass. Both performance-wise and looks-wise. Andy lowered the car and they rubbed on the front. Most Z3 people cut out the plastic fender liner. Andy will not go for that solution, so he's selling. We cannot get them in 8.0 width for front in the US. Also, apparently even with stock sizes, stock wheels, and stock suspension, S-03s will rub the front fender liner on Z3s. We think S-03s run a little wider that other tire brands and models.

Great set of tires and rims! :thumbup: I'm sure it won't be a problem selling these!

Any idea if a set of 18x8's in the front would completely solve the problems of rubbing, even with S-03's? You might have luck selling just a pair over on BF.com if you can somehow find a way to get the 18x8's from Japan.

I've posted a thread on bimmerforums.com linking to this one to help give your ad a little more traffic. Hope you don't mind. :)

Whoever bought them must post a pic of them on the car. Those are delicious.

Agreed. I am p*ssed that they did not work out. I am half tempted to get RS-GT's for my car, although something big is in the works...Let's hope it works out. :fruit:

I am the person who bought the wheel off Andy. Got to say thanks to Andy for cutting the deal and being patient with my card problem.... heeheee I will not be able to post pic anytime soon since my car is going into the body shop on Monday for about 4 wks. By that time, I should have a whole new paint job with a set of nice looking RG-R. looking forward to that day.
