Hi Folks, took delivery on March 19. Had a great trip. Returned it to Thomas on March 24. Car is now scheduled to return on the FEDORA.

Most important part first...

1) Maggie walking me down the stairs
2) side shot
3) rear show
4) how do these seats work anyway?
5) one more side shot
6) top
7) side with premium lounge above

I have more pics of the M3 and the 135 at welt if anyone is interested?

Write up to follow....

Congratulation on you beautiful new car... We forgive your "very, very, very late ED report." However, you better make it up with a detailed report and "many, many, many pictures!" :)

Terra is an option for the 3 series sedan. Interior color for the Coupé is Saddle. Wood color appears to be dark burl wood... me thinks :)

Correct, the interior color is Saddle Brown. Wood color is dark burl walnut. I can't take credit for this combo... I saw one like it in the showroom and knew it was the combo I would order. According to the plant tour guy in Munich, AW is quite a popular color choice these days.

A few more photos:

1) M3 at Welt
2) Inside the M3 at Welt
3) 135i at Welt
4) Inside the 135i at Welt
5) 135i at Welt
6) 135i at Welt

I test drove the 135i at Sterling BMW when I returned the Navi DVD and iPod adapter my sales rep loaned me. Very nice car.

If anyone is looking for an ED in the NOVA area I can highly recommend Mohammad Abugideiri at Sterling BMW. Super nice guy. Easy to deal with. ED process went off without so much as a hiccup.

Jcowger,
I think that is my car behind yours. It was a white 528i with plate M 1598 Z. I could not read the plate on your pic. At what time did you pick up? I did the last pick up at 4:50pm since I missed my fligh in London. By the way nice car. I changed my mind last minute to a 335i coupe but it was too late and I think it would have been small for me. I am happy with the 528i. My last car was an 05 530i which is very similar in pick up as the new one. By the way how do you know so soon that your car is in route???

yamilrx,

I'm pretty sure you were there at the same time as me. I took delivery around that time. That is in fact your car! I've added a photo below were you can clearly read the plates on your car.

East coast deliveries are handled by Wallenius Wilhelmsen and can be tracked by logging on to http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do , choosing the Auto Cargo option and finally entering your VIN (make sure all letters are in CAPS) in the Cargo ID box.

I got this info from the ED wiki.

Once you get the cago status history, you can click on the voyage (mine is EA814-FED) to see the sailing schedule.

Good luck!

Yes, that is definitively my car. I can see the middle numbers on the picture. Thanks for the info on tracking the vehicle. For some reason I could not get to the Wiki to get that info. I now see that a bunch of your pictures show the plate clearly. How cool.

Mine is in the Courage. It won't get here until 4/21 and to the dealer 4/28. Wow that is a long way. I wonder how accurate these dates are.

Yam,

We were both on The Morning Melody in Sping '05 adn it looks like we're on the Courage together this time! I dropped mine in London 4/4 after picking up 3/29. Its due to leave Southampton 4/13. Hope this one stays on schedule (and doesn't bounced our cars around of course).

Let's keep watching progress.
