I recently posted some Qs about tires and buying at Tire Rack. Very helpful responses convinced me to go ahead.
Jeeeez, it was easy. Gary responded very helpfully (and quickly) to some last-minute neuroses via e-mail, then I placed the order (Goodyear F1 A/S 205/55 16 for my 2005 325i).
The tires shipped within about 24 hours and arrived at my local installer the next day.
The local installer put em on within an hour or so of my arrival at the shop, at the price quoted - and a brisk drive on a nearby highway convinced me that the installation was fine.
The next day a copy of the invoice and a Goodyear rebate form arrived in the mail, all ready to fill out, sign and post.
