hey,
I was wondering if my car has the sport package and if so, iwhat is included in this package?
It came with the 16 inch rims and the front seats with the extending part under your thighs.
thanks

Most likely it's a sport. Check the gap on your front wheels on a level surface.
(if the suspension is still original). If it's 2" it's a non-sport, less than that and it's a sport.

Does anyone know if i would be able to fit 17/8.5 oem m3 rims all the way around on my 1994 325is? Without making drastic altercations?

Well look at the name itself...
"325 i s"
325 = 3 series... 2.5 engine as far as I know
i = In-line 6 Cylinder
s= sports package.
Unless someone removed your extra stuff off the car you should have sports package.

Actually, "i" is for "injected", and "s" was appended to the end of ALL USDM E36 coupes. So the name is useless in determining that. ;)

When you see ic on a convertible and a man is driving, the c stands for c.u.n.t.
This is unless the car is a supercar, i.e. not an Audi TT, Porsche Boxster, or a 318i vert.
P.S. This is partly a joke and not intended to cause offence to any guys driving slow convertible non-sports cars.

Nice try, but no USDM E36's EVER got the "ic" designation.
Epic Fail.
Sorry, please try again later.

Me, when in my first post in this thread I specifically related all data to E36's. Not other BMWs or other makes.
I guess I don't need to pwn you anymore, your reading comprehension pwns you enough!

Yeah but I don't read most of what you say :thumbup:
I was simply talking about the "ic" designation in general.

Haha, welcome to the fray Kennedy. Lol.
Me n B/\/\/\/\/\/\W always bicker. Its fun. Especially since he has a 318..... :p
Also, they made E36 convertibles, but they never put an "ic" badge on the back of them. That's all.
We like semantics around here..... :rofl:.

Heh heh, kinda thought you might do that. Welcome to the club bro. No big.
104kW? 84kw? Eesh. Just did the conversion on those. Ouch. I'm sorry..... :p
210kW here..... :D

Just messin' man. I just got lucky enough to upgrade a little bit ago. Used to have a 325is. The E36's aren't fast, but they sure are fun to drive.

True, the "s" in IS doesnt mean it has the sports package. I wish I knew this before I bought mine. Mines a 325is, it is a 2door coupe, but Im pretty it doesnt have the sport package. It has some ugly 15s and the interior is pretty basic.

Very true mate.
Its kinda fun, I've had so many people ask me if I'm rich or think its a lot more expensive than it is. Me and some friends (incl one person I hadn't met previously) were hanging out in SF. I was driver, and the one who hadn't met me before asked one of my friends later on if I was rich. I think it helped that I had just clayed and waxed my car the night before.....
Have had about four or five people actually straight up ask me, "Damn, nice car! Are you rich or something?". Its pretty funny.
The best one (which actually really annoyed me) was a rude car salesman of a cheap used lot. I was quickly skimming it for my girlfriend who needs a replacement car, and has a whopping budget of 1500 USD or less. I had already quickly checked all the prices and climbed in my car, when the salesman came out as I was about to pull away. I figured I'd see if he might have anything coming in in that price range. I left my door open since I hadn't shut it yet. He walks up and puts on hand on my roofline and the other on my door. That was his first mistake. Then he asked what my pricerange was, I told him I was looking for my gf and her range was sub 1500. He looked at my car and goes, "Whats wrong with you? You're driving this and gonna put her in $1500 car?" And continue to go on about that for a while. I nicely rolled my eyes and left. Douche....lol.
84kw doesn't stop me being the fastest car on the road though!
Yes, yes it does....
:pIt's all about handling and not driving like a sissy.
And having power......

P.S. If that's too personal, don't have your gf as your avatar!

I have a 325i coupe not 's'....
There was also a 325is coupe
and I also know there were 318is 4doors made!
Now how does the 's' elude some 2 doors and get included on some 4doors?

and to add to that the 1995 m3 was based on the 325i coupe doesn't say 325is coupe in reference material I have.
I am starting to disbelieve the whole 's' thing = coupe.
Is there any offical word or source that can confirm or deny this.

What do these letters on the back of my car mean?
* Traditionally BMW has used a series of letters to denote differences between models. For instance “is” would mean injected sports. Here’s a breakdown of the letters and what they mean. Keep in mind that various BMW’s used combinations of these letters. However, these letters are the most common.

e*** ETA model. Built by BMW as efficiency-minded cars during the 1980’s
es** ETA – Sports, ETA model with sports package.
Ci** Fuel Injected – Coupe. This designation is used on most modern BMW’s
Csi* Fuel Injected – Sports Coupe.
