Help - I've got bad cupping on my E46 '05 325i - Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S. Plenty of treadwear left, so the major concern is tire noise (and it's BAD).

Alignment is solid, Struts and suspension are solid (verified by BMW dealer).

Dealer said that Goodyears have had trouble with BMWs because of the negative camber. Goodyears apparently have an abrupt angle between the road and the sidewall. Dealer recommended a tire with a "gentler transition" betwee the road surface and the sidewall.

He acutally recommended TireRack because the dealer charged way too much for original equipment. He said Michelin and Conti seem to have good tires for the E46.

With that said, what do you suggest for an all season tire? I'm not a spirited driver, but I'm FAR from a "Sunday Driver". But I would like my tires to last > 8K miles.

Thanks!
