As you can see from the picture, there's a lot of wheel arch rust that is visible, and a whole load more on the inner lip near the top that isn't visible and isn't shown in the pics. Over a year ago I touched up these areas and you can see where the spray paint crappily joins the original paint. It looked okay but recently it's just starting rusting to sh1t.
It looks worse than it is because of the camera flash, but it's not so noticeable or eye catching from a few metres away. It's going to get worse though. What kind of rust issues do other people have?
How can I properly repair these areas? I don't want this car forever but I may as well keep it looking in semi-good condition.
On a sidenote, I decided to put the original amber indicators back on. I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to make an old and rusting car better than it is! The reason I have it is because I couldn't afford more as a student, but I do like the fact that it is an E36, the classic look is okay. I like the idea of it being totally stock (apart from having sprayed the bumpers).
